María Balarin joined a workshop and seminar on educational segregation, held by the Educational Justice Center and the University of Chile’s Center for Advanced Research in Education

“The evidence shows, convincingly, that markets in education deepen segregation,” explained our principal investigator, María Balarin, at the International Seminar “Social and academic inclusion. From politics to school”, held on Wednesday, March 14 by the Educational Justice Center —an institute formed by the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile and the universities of Tarapacá, Magallanes, de la Frontera and the Professional Institute and Technical Training Center DUOC-UC— and the Center for Advanced Research in Education of the University of Chile.

In addition, on Tuesday, March 13, María joined a discussion workshop on methods for the analysis of educational inclusion.
