Evaluation is a fundamental part of the design and effective operation of a program. The results of the evaluations provide valuable information about the program, function as an accountability mechanism for the work team, funders, policymakers and other interest groups, and contribute to the decision-making process on which programs to finance. expand, modify or discontinue.

Over fifteen years, GRADE has been an important agent of impact evaluations of public programs and policies in Peru. GRADE researchers have conducted impact evaluations in areas such as health, education, social inclusion, agriculture and economic development. The experience and knowledge acquired throughout this period guarantee the prestige and credibility of GRADE in the area.

In order to share the wealth of knowledge generated and provide training opportunities with high quality standards, GRADE offers an impact evaluation course for development programs aimed at public officials working on issues related to evaluations of social programs, officials of multilateral agencies and / or NGOs, university students in the last career or master’s degrees in economic or social sciences, and professionals interested in the subject.
