Regarding the subsidy requested to the Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation of Peru for the potato growers that sow more than 3000 meters high, our senior researcher, Eduardo Zegarra, said in La República that this subsidy should be channeled through a service platform of support to the farmer: “It would make a strong job of promoting services, such as technical assistance, access to credit, modern inputs, the State should do it”.
