Presentation
As a part of the Second Study of the Latin American Laboratory for the Evaluation of Educational Quality (LLECE) of UNESCO, Santiago Cueto will work on the development of instruments to measure factors associated with achievement and the design of a qualitative study along the same lines. The work will include the development of a conceptual framework for the analysis of variables linked with achievement. The instruments include questionnaires for students, their parents, teachers and school principals. These
will be administered at the same time as the tests in language, mathematics and science in over a dozen countries of the region during 2006. Cecilia Ramírez, Juan León and Gabriela Guerrero collaborate on this project.
