Presentation

The Peruvian agro-export process has had a relevant boom in the last two decades, especially in the coastal zones aimed to fruits and vegetables, and in jungle areas aimed for small producers of coffee and cocoa. However, little is known about the processes of entry and exit of companies in this export effort, as well as the very dynamics of the products that manage to be exported versus those that can not be sustained. This study aims to fill this knowledge gap.

The main aim is to analyze the dynamics of entry and exit of companies through an analysis of survival for the Peruvian agro-export process of the last two decades.
