The UNDP Regional Bureau for Latin America and the Caribbean will organize the virtual event “The effects of social protection policies: their effectiveness in protecting households against risks and their impact on productivity” during the High Level Political Forum on sustainable development. The event will address the effects of social protection policies: their effectiveness in protecting households against risks and their impact on productivity. The event will take the form of a webinar with a high-level panel of academic experts and public policy makers. This space will focus on the effects of social protection policies and will propose a new system, based on universality.
