Our senior researcher, Gerardo Damonte, will be a panelist in the first Science and Society colloquium, which the National Council for Science, Technology and Technological Innovation (Concytec) will held twice a year: on March and November.
The event will address the issue of natural disasters and their economic, social and environmental impacts. The characteristics of extreme natural phenomena and the scientific research needed for their knowledge will be discussed, as well as science and society as reciprocally conditioning categories.
