April 5th-6th: ILAIPP II Regional Conference “Innovation and Quality in Education”

The ILAIPP II Regional Conference “Innovation and Quality in Education” will be held in Lima, Peru on April 5th and 6th. The conference, host by the Group for the Analysis of Development (GRADE), aims to generate and disseminate high quality research about educational innovation and quality in Latin America, with great potential to influence educational policies. The studies that will be presented and discussed have been developed by ILAIPP researchers. There will also be presentations from two international experts and a policy panel in which the Peruvian and Guatemalan Ministers of Education will participate together with Emiliana Vegas, Chief of the Education Division at the Inter American Development Bank.

The conference will enable the active participation of experts on research and policy from around the world, as well as civil society, policy makers and students.

The ILAIPP II Regional Conference is supported by the Think Tank Initiative (TTI), a program dedicated to strengthening the capacity of independent policy research institutions in the developing world.

ILAIPP is the Latin American Initiative for Public Policy Research; it is a collaborative effort that gathers the knowledge and experience of eleven research centers in seven Latin American countries.
