Presentation

The study has two objectives. The first objective is to carry out an analysis of nutritional trajectories throughout the life cycle, from childhood to youth, with the objective of knowing the factors that determine overweight and obesity in Peru. To do this, use will be made of longitudinal information collected by the Young Lives study. The second objective is to develop and validate an instrument to measure the frequency and quantity of food consumption in the 14 to 19 year age group. This instrument will be used in the sixth round of Young Lives Peru (2016) and will be available for use by policy makers and the general public.
