Presentation

This consultancy aims to identify and characterize the project’s target population in reference to the availability, accessibility and uses of the human, physical, family, public and social assets with productive purposes, for the generation of monetary and non-monetary income.

This consultancy is part of a serie of studies aimed to design the pre-feasibility study for the Project for Development of Rural Highlands, which must be finished by February 2006. In accordance with the Presidency of the Council of Minister’s formulations, this project is framed within the Rural Development Strategy Plan (ENDR) and contributes to the Poverty Reduction Strategy Plan. The project will be developed within the scope of six departments of the Peruvian highlands: Apurímac, Ayacucho, Huancavelica, Junín, Pasco and Huánuco.
