Presentation

The final data of the project One Laptop per Child (OLPC) at home that distributed XO computers (of the OLPC program) to an approximate sample of 1000 students of the primary school at the beginning of 2011 will be gathered.   In 2012, internet access was provided to a random sample within this group, the data of which is compiled from beginning to end of the 2011 school year, and will be complemented with this information to enable estimating both intervention impacts.  Instruments include performance data, cognitive skills, self-respect and control variables data.

This project is a continuation of others involving the Inter-American Development Bank and the Ministry of Education.
