The PEP network (Partnership for Economic Policy) will continue its support strategy for research development on poverty matters by researchers from developing countries during the next three years. This time, however, specific subjects have been defined: labor market institutions, social protection and its connection with the labor market and entrepreneurism.   GRADE will continue supporting the network in its regional activities, though including this time, the administration of seven PEP scholarships. The PEP network is constituted by the Laval University of Canada; the Economic and Social Research Consortium (CRES) from Senegal; the Angelo King Institute (AKI) from La Salle University in the Philippines and GRADE in Peru.  This project concerns the funding granted by the International Development Research Center (IDRC), but it will be complemented by another project associated to the funding granted by the Department for International Development (DFID) from the United Kingdom.
