The teachers’ complaints under analysis
On the sidelines of the teachers’ strike, several specialists, including our senior researcher, Hugo Ñopo, analyzed in El Comercio the main orders of the teachers’ union to the goverment. Regarding the repeal of the teacher reform law, Hugo says: “Just as we advocate for better teachers’ salaries, we have to advocate for the profession standards to rise. Meritocracy is the instsrument for that”.
