Medellin: Santiago Cueto will discuss the challenges and opportunities of digital learning in Latin America

In order to analyze relevant experiences of educational innovation in the region and identify the challenges for the future of digital learning, the city of Medellin will host the International Meeting: Challenges and Opportunities of Digital Learning in Latin America, on 20 and 21 of November. The meeting is held by the EAFIT University.

During the first day, our Researcher Director, Santiago Cueto, will be one of the discussant of the session “The digital classroom: What works?”. The panel will address successful models of digital education in the classroom, its lessons and the possibilities of scaling up its valuable components or practices. Hours later, Santiago will be a discussant again in the session “Competencies of the 21st century: How to evaluate them?”. This session will address recent research focused on the development and measurement of 21st century competencies, revealing current instruments and methodologies, as well as the possibilities and challenges that entail.
