Our senior researcher, Gabriela Guerrero, joined the most relevant event on early childhood in Latin America and the Caribbean: the Regional Agenda for the Integral Development of Early Childhood Forum, on November 15 and 16, in Bogotá, Colombia.
The event was made possible thanks to the partnership between the Presidency of the Republic of Colombia, the Inter-American Dialogue, the Development Bank of Latin America, the Bernard van Leer Foundation, Éxito, Maria Cecília Souto Vidigal, Plan and Saldarriaga Concha, and the Network Latin American for Education – Reduca.
At the close of the event, representatives of 12 governments of the region signed the agreement of countries for the “Regional Agenda for the Integral Development of Early Childhood”, which should be based on an intergovernmental network, civil society organizations, organizations of the international cooperation, and academic institutions, committed to the development of the obligations established by the Agreement.
